Dress Making
We have a team of specialist dressmakers with the skills to produce costumes from all periods.
All of the making in our workroom is overseen by John Bright. Our makers all carry through a project from first to last fitting. There is no distinction between cutting and making, creating a seamless process, which we believe enhances the quality of the finished garment.
Our makers understand how to achieve period shapes and styles. We try to use the best quality and appropriate fabrics to create an authentic look and quality finish.
Tailoring
Our tailors have considerable experience in achieving period cuts. We use the best quality fabrics appropriate to the period, to create an authentic look and quality finish.
Millinery
Our milliners can produce fine quality hats, bonnets and headpieces in period styles. They are also able to retrim hats from our stock to achieve a designer’s brief.
Dye Room
Our dyers can match colours as required and offer a breaking down service.
